Originally from New Jersey, I moved to the Carolinas over 30 years ago where I raised my two children. Based initially in a small southern town, I used my creative and business skills to improve the homes of clients. By the time I moved to Charlotte, I had officially launched a company which specialized in interior and organizational design. My husband is a general contractor so it seemed only natural to obtain my real estate license in 2005 and soon after the children graduated from college (UNC and NC State), we relocated to Michigan where we developed and sold a wide range of real estate.
Alas, the heart called us home to the Carolinas where we live now live in Cary. I am the President of my HOA, love yoga, the beach, and believe it or not – hard work. My background in home design and construction and my knowledge of North Carolina as a whole has equipped me to help my clients find the home of their dreams. Growing up in Greenville, NC I am proud to be a native North Carolinian, moving to Raleigh in 1987 to attend NC State University. During my four
years there I grew to love the area so much and decided to make The Triangle my home. I am the proud wife of Todd Hunt, Brigadier General in the North Carolina Army National Guard. Together we have two sons, both of which were educated in the award winning Wake County Schools.

It was love at first sight! A few years ago, Dana and her family visited close friends in Brier Creek and knew right away Raleigh was the place to raise a family. As a Real Estate Agent in Annapolis, MD, Dana knew the value of a great schools, wonderful neighborhoods, and with boys entering 1st and 2nd Grades, knew it was time to relocate. She and her husband made a plan to move couldn’t get here fast enough. Dana currently lives with her family of four in Raleigh, NC.
Originally from Rockaway, New Jersey, Dana went to West Virginia University and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public and Mass Communication. After earning her degree, she embarked on a career in the Supply Chain field as a Buyer/Planner for Calvin Klein and BASF where she developed a strong reputation as a skilled communicator and negotiator. In her personal life, Dana volunteers at her children’s elementary school in after school programs such as lacrosse and flag football and loves watching her boys in lacrosse, football, swimming, and other neighborhood activities. Her husband Lou, a Naval Academy graduate who played lacrosse for Navy, helps coach the new lacrosse program at the elementary school. They are so thankful to have met so many wonderful families while living in Raleigh, NC.
